Spanish company STN Cerámica received the prestigious Alfa de Oro award at the Cevisama 2025 fair for its innovative Energy Recovery System, which uses combustion gases and barbotine to optimize energy efficiency in the ceramics sector.
This important award, given by the Spanish Society of Ceramics and Glass, recognizes a unique project capable of reducing CO₂ emissions by 2,200 tons and recovering up to 12 GWh per year of energy.
STN Cerámica thus continues its journey towards sustainability, focusing on innovation and advanced technologies to improve the efficiency of production processes, reduce environmental impact and promote a balance between economic growth, social welfare and environmental protection.
